A humourous limerick featuring the Black Country comic character Aynuck. The limerick if read aloud provides a good introduction to the distinctive Black Country dialect.
The limerick was written during World War Two and was used a moral booster for the Home Front. The limerick was performed by a contemporary comedian George Doonan.
