Noah Bloomers - a famous chainmaking works, situated in Quarry Bank. This photograph actually shows four men working on the cable links. It was tough work, requiring skill and strength. Notice the stake that is supporting the link and the huge tongs the men are using. Try and find the chain stake, located in this exhibition hall.
