This photograph shows Daniel Duffield (Right) with his barge horse 'Sandy'. After being made redundant from Beans Foundry, Daniel set up his own coal carrying barge; transporting coal around the region. The gentleman on the left of the photograph is Clarence Brown who worked at Elwell and Brown, Tipton, who also transported coal. The photograph was taken during the 1930s.
